XERF is a non-invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation technology that combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy.

Its dual-frequency technology allows energy to be delivered at different tissue depths, creating controlled heating where it can stimulate the  body’s natural collagen response.

Unlike treatments that use needles to deliver radiofrequency energy, XERF works entirely from the surface of the skin.

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. The needles penetrate the skin and deliver RF energy at selected depths, making it particularly useful when concerns include skin texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores and more advanced resurfacing in addition to tightening.

For some patients, one technology will clearly be the better choice. For others, the treatments may complement one another as part of a comprehensive rejuvenation plan.
