Your blood contains four key ingredients: red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. The platelets in your blood are responsible for clotting, preventing you from bleeding out — but their role hardly stops there. Once the bleeding is controlled, your platelets release growth factors and cytokines to initiate the healing cascade, which includes calling on white blood cells, stem cells and growth factors.

With PRP, we draw a sample of your own blood. Then, using a special centrifuge and a separator gel, platelets are segregated out to create a biocompatible concentrate.
